We present a unique implementation of a residential space project, where the main challenge was adapting solutions to specific terrain conditions. Due to the estate’s location on an elevated floodplain with a drainage system, we had to apply non-standard solutions for the greenery composition.
Technical limitations related to the drainage system ruled out the possibility of traditional ground plantings. In response to this challenge, we created a composition based on a planter system. In carefully selected, large-sized containers, we placed various ornamental plants, which allowed for the introduction of rich vegetation without risking damage to the drainage installation.
The dominant feature of the project is an elegant terrace made of natural wood, equipped with an advanced pilot-controlled roof covering that protects against rain and sun. The terrace space has been enhanced with openwork sliding walls, which not only provide privacy from the street side but also serve as an attractive decorative element.
We diversified the garden surface with a dynamic arrangement of architectural concrete slabs, breaking the monotony of the lawn and creating an interesting combination of geometric forms. The entire composition is maintained in a subdued color palette, dominated by delicate shades of brown and gray, harmoniously complementing the architecture of the estate.
The project perfectly illustrates how, through a creative approach to technical limitations, one can create a functional and aesthetic space that fully meets the needs of its users.
