In this intimate project, we took on the challenge of transforming a small, shaded space into a vibrant garden that delights at every time of year and day.
The main idea was to brighten the space, which we achieved through careful selection of small architectural elements and furniture in light tones. Colorful planters serve as dynamic accents, enlivening the entire composition.
The heart of the garden is carefully planned vegetation that ensures constant variability and attractiveness of the space. In spring, the garden blooms with colorful bulbous plants, in summer lush hydrangeas dominate, and in the winter season elegant evergreen plants come to the foreground. The Japanese maple, like a living sculpture, constitutes a year-round compositional dominant.
Thoughtful lighting ensures that the garden maintains its charm even after dark, creating a moody scenery for evening relaxation. Above the terrace, we installed a retractable roof that effectively protects against rain while not obscuring precious sunlight when it reaches the garden.
The space was discreetly separated from neighbors by a delicate fence, which allowed us to create an intimate enclave of peace. This small, initially unattractive and shaded piece of land has been transformed into a friendly space that invites relaxation and contemplation of nature throughout the year.
